Ret. Maj. General, USAF LaBrutta Joins RPI

FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA, February 1, 2022 – RPI Group Inc. (RPI), a 20-year DoD contracting partner, is proud to welcome Major General USAF (Retired) Robert ‘Bob’ LaBrutta to the team as Senior Vice President of Strategic Development. In this new role, LaBrutta will support the RPI and University of Texas at San Antonio’s (UTSA) new National Security Collaboration Center (NSCC) research partnership. This research will provide valuable feedback for the RPI Cybersecurity solution currently implemented at the Marine Corps Base in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He will focus on growing and broadening RPI’s cyber solutions to other branches of the military, federal and state government, and commercial entities.

LaBrutta joins RPI following his successful tenure as a Senior Advisor and Consultant with McFalls Associates, LLC, a small but distinguished firm specializing in finding and connecting disruptive dual-use technologies and integrating them into DoD, federal, state, industry, and academic institutions.

Prior to his work with McFalls Associates, Bob enjoyed a distinguished career in the United States Air Force. He served more than 37 years and retired in the grade of Major General. Completing a diverse range of assignments, Bob led and developed extensive executive policy and program management acumen. He successfully led, integrated, and facilitated cross-functional teams at strategic enterprise levels of the Air Force. His command tours included squadron, group, two wings and a numbered air force.
