Allen Payne Joins RPI as COO

FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA, March 17, 2022 – RPI Group Inc. is excited to welcome Allen Payne as their new Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO of RPI, Allen will focus on defining strategic goals and optimizing organizational processes, ensuring the executive vision of the company is integrated with its day-to-day operations. He will be instrumental in preparing RPI Group for future contracts and impending growth.

Allen brings over 25 years of experience in leadership and technical management of government and commercial organizations, where he became adept at building teams, developing and empowering leaders, and fostering collaboration. He joins RPI following a successful tenure as COO of IntelliWare Systems, Inc. through its sale to Trowbridge & Trowbridge in 2020. From that time, Allen served as a Senior Vice President, where he focused on the integration of IntelliWare’s corporate and customer operations into the new parent company, renamed as IntelliBridge, and the assimilation of two subsequent acquisitions.

Over 15 years at IntelliWare, Allen led corporate operations and customer delivery, ultimately responsible for over 300 employees, $40 million dollars in annual revenue, and contract value over $200 million.  He also developed a corporate culture that was recognized for its commitment to IntelliWare’s customer’s missions, the employees, and the community. Under his leadership, the company was recognized as a Washington Post Top Workplace (2017-2019), a Best Place to Work in Virginia (2016), and the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) Government Contractor of the Year (2016) and Award of Excellence recipient (2015).
