Bob Pleban Announces Retirement; Dom LaPore Steps in as CEO

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Bob Pleban, the founder and CEO of RPI. He has devoted his life to the security of this country, first in the Navy and then building his own company to continue the mission. Bob and his wife, Lisa, built a skilled team of cyber security, systems engineering, and information technology professionals providing expert support to critical national security missions.

As an accomplished senior executive, Bob has a distinguished record of achievement and experience building valuable public and private sector alliances in both corporate and start-up environments. Under Bob’s leadership, RPI has been listed on Inc. 5000 “Fastest Growing Companies” four times and Inc. Best Workplaces three times.

While Bob is ‘retiring,’ we like to think of it more as ‘rewiring,’ as he won’t be gone quite yet! He will still be around to provide advice and guidance to help RPI grow and maintain what makes this company special, our culture.

Bob will be replaced as CEO by Dom LaPore, who has over 30 years of leadership experience in government contracting, information technology, and as an Officer in the Navy. He has founded and successfully grown two government contracting companies over the last 20 years, the last of which, IntelliWare, reached over $45M in revenue and 300 employees. Dom’s vision is to preserve what makes RPI special while growing its impact to national security and opportunities for its employees. Dom’s leadership philosophy is servant-leader based excellence, caring deeply for our employees so they can perform at peak levels taking care of our customers.

While it is a bittersweet change for us, we hope to continue his legacy where we put our employees first and are still hyper mission focused. No matter what, RPI will still be RPI: Mission. People. Family.
