DOM LAPORE

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Dom LaPore is the RPI Group’s Chief Executive Officer. He has over 30 years of leadership and management experience in government contracting, information technology, and as a Navy Officer, managing technical, sales, and consulting professional organizations. He has held senior, influential management roles in the start-up phases of four companies, two of which he founded, DB Data Systems and IntelliWare Systems. Dom’s success has resulted from his unwavering commitment to culture, performance excellence, and leadership development.  

Under Dom as CEO, IntelliWare grew to over 300 employees and $45M in revenue and was recognized as the number two Washington Post Top Workplace mid-size company, was an Inc 5000 company three times, received a Virginia Values Veteran’s Governor’s top small business award, was named a best place to work in Virginia, and earned the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum’s Awards of Excellence and Contractor of the Year. As a Navy Supply Officer, Dom traveled around the world twice and one of his divisions was twice awarded the Best Ship’s Store in the Pacific fleet and the Supply Department won a Blue E for excellence.  Over his career, he also led six business activities at the Naval Academy, managed the east coast sales engineering team and was a member of the technical staff for a telecommunications software company, and founded and led a company focused on counterterrorism software and systems engineering. 
 

Dom has a BA in Political Science from Virginia Tech, completed graduate coursework in business at The University of Baltimore, holds a graduate certificate in Information Technology from The University of Maryland Global Campus, and completed the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School executive program in mergers and acquisitions.
